Diploma of Leadership and Management – BSB50420

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply knowledge, practical skills and experience in leadership and management across a range of enterprise and industry contexts.
Individuals at this level display initiative and judgement in planning, organising, implementing and monitoring their own workload and the workload of others. They use communication skills to support individuals and teams to meet organisational or enterprise requirements.
They may plan, design, apply and evaluate solutions to unpredictable problems, and identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources.

To achieve the BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management, 12 units must be completed. This is made up of all 6 Core units, plus a total of 6 Elective units. For this qualification, electives may be selected to meet either a specialist or multi-skilled job outcome. These elective units can be chosen when consulting one of the Brisbane Business & Hospitality staff who can offer you guidance and assistance to choose the right stream for you.

This course is structured through competency based training and assessment. Course duration is based on individual training requirements.
